Final Storyboard
For the production of the final storyboard, there were a few changes made to help conserve time to meet the 20 second limit. This included the beginning establishing shot, now Zapata is just robbing a store, focusing more on the action, rather than the context. However to compensate for this I have also included additional frames to better capture Zapata's specific actions, such as him typing up Burro to the post outside.
Original Storyboard
Plan & Layout
The original storyboard was an opportunity to test different camera angles to show or hide characters in frame. The narrative illustrates a failed bank robbery, in which Zapata drags his mule, Burro, to the bank and tells him to stay outside, while he goes in and attempts to rob the bank. Once in the bank Zapata's gun jams and the locals inside decide to beat him up for attempting assault. He rushes outside seconds later, clearly displaying his battle scars only to discover that Burro has disappeared in the blink of an eye.
